Flipside is a band of three fellows that has been performing soft rock for decades.
Steven Russon, the Kirksville Arts Representative for the evening, introduced them,
and thanked our Sponsors and Adair County for making Summer On the Square possible.
Steven announces the group, thanks the sponsors and opens the evening with gratitude for the listeners, venue and organizations that make Summer on the Square happen for 13 weeks in a row every summer on the Court House Steps.
A teen listener shakes hands with Sherif Bob.
A fantastic electric guitar fills the air with tunes.
This is Gail Allard from Ethel, MO.
I stepped up the stairs of the Court House to take this picture over the band, showing the folks who know a good thing when they hear it!
This is Gail’s grandson, Jacob. He is the Official Photographer for this famous group, Flipside.
The Ice Cream Bus came by with it’s own music, inviting folks to cool off with something special.
The listeners enjoy the breeze that cools things down in the evening, as well as the lovely color the evening sky offers under the trees.
