Many of you may have walked or driven nearby the old Kirksville Arts
Building that was burned in the Dec 2, 2016 Fire.
Here are some pictures you may have taken yourself, of the hull of the
building left after the Inferno.
But, very few have been inside the building to see the devastation that
engulfed Kirksville Arts Gallery.
Above, the brightest area, where the daylight is coming in is the
South East Corner of the building.
Above, is the back wall (South East) showing the center door.
Here is the tangle in that corner near the back elevator.
Oh, dear, that Gorgeous Piano. It makes sound, but it isn’t pretty.
So now they bring in the blade.
They put on their poison protection gear.
They make sure their masks are working.
They tape plastic everywhere and begin to scrape up the old tile floor.
And they chased me out of the building, taping behind me as I went.
I will keep you posted on this process as the Phoenix arises from the ashes.
