Community Orchestra
The Kirksville Community String Orchestra (KCSO) welcomes all violin, viola, cello and bass players from 7th grade through adult who have played at least one year and can read music. The ensemble was founded to provide a playing opportunity for adults and encourage young string players in an enjoyable environment of camaraderie. KSCO provides members with stimulating music, mentoring by more experienced players and continued growth in musical maturity. The orchestra rehearses on Thursday evenings in the Kirksville Middle School band room during the fall and spring and culminates each semester with a concert. KSCO is currently leading a search for the next conductor. Interested persons should send a resume and cover letter to the Kirksville Community String Orchestra, Attention: Orchestra Manager, P.O.
