Art Walk & Business After Hours, 6-3-2016

Many folks started their Walking Tour of art and merchants at the Kirksville

Art Center, where they picked up the map of about 25 artists paired with merchants.

It was a gala affaire.

US Cellular was the business participating with KAA in Business After Hours.

These people are enjoying themselves, and hopefully enjoying the art of

MOSI Art Guild which is exhibiting thru the Fourth of July.

With map in hand I began my Walk.

Artists and Musicians were placed all around The Square and the adjacent

blocks.  Here Tim Cason pounds away with a lively tune on the Keyboard.

East on Washington St, across from Beard’s Interior Design, is Audra’s

Tent where they offered hot dogs to all who wanted one.

Kids decorated their own Cookies at Sweet Espressions Cafe.

And around the corner at DuKum Inn Dale VanSickle showed his Native

American paintings, along with a couple authentic leather costumes

handmade with attention do detail of that time period and the people.

Then – – – at 7, many of the walkers walked on over to Summer On the

Square and listened to music by the Bevier Band Keota.
