About the Company

The Curtain Call Theatre Company was founded in 1997 as an encore to Travellers Community Theatre, dedicated to bringing high quality theatrical performances within a full-season format to Kirksville and the surrounding communities.

Our audiences have grown from an average of 200 to over 1,000, while producing such shows as Harvey, Into the Woods, Grease, Arsenic and Old Lace, Guys and Dolls, Steel Magnolias, and The Odd Couple.

The next step is working towards a permanent home for our productions, and in doing so, creating a performing arts center for which we need the support of the whole community, individuals and businesses alike.

It is the mission of the Curtain Call Theatre Company to provide quality and affordable live theatrical entertainment to Kirksville and the communities of Northeast Missouri utilizing the resources of aspiring amateur adult, student, and child actors of our area and striving toward establishing a permanent facility for theatrical and cultural arts in the region.
